 Yes we have great sailing! Bodies of water such as the Lake of the Woods or Rainy Lake provide ideal conditions. Good southwesterly winds predominate in the summer and day times highs can exceed 80 degrees - making for a pleasant sailing experience. Shelter behind an island on the Lake of the Woods - there's 14,600 to choose from. Stop in for supplies in many waterfront communities or get away from it all in the vastness of these bodies of water. Catch a warm breeze and sail into the sunset - we're famous for them! |
